Biography

Prof. Dr. Dejan Đorđević from Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, is a university professor, doctor of law, doctor of medicine, Serbian politician, president of the Conservative Reformist Party, co-owner of several companies in the European Union and chairman of the board of directors of Efas Europe in Germany.

Prof. Dr. Dejan Đorđević was born in 1971 in Leskovac, where he completed primary school and grammar school. He completed the reserve officers’ school in Zadar. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Medicine. Dissatisfied with the political and economic situation in the country, he left for Germany, where he began his career at a clinic in Kassel.

Soon he received an offer to run a health insurance fund. He is an expert in health consulting in medicine and in investment funds in insurance, especially pension insurance, health insurance and equity funds. He was a member of several management boards in multinational companies in the Federal Republic of Germany.

He is actively engaged in business consulting, particularly in the field of health and investment funds. He is a consultant and lecturer on European Funds Acquisition Services for accession countries.

He is chief executive officer (CEO) of the German company Efas Europe in Berlin. In November 2014 in Zurich he received the award for best manager in the field of business consulting.

He is the owner of the brands Efas Paper™ and Alpe Water™ and co-investor (co-owner) in several multinational companies.

In September 2017 he received an invitation from the Government of Austria, through the Austrian Business Agency and Mr. Bernhard Bachleitner, to take part, as a prominent manager of a successful company, in Austria’s economic growth in line with positive reforms and individual advantages, by positioning his company in Vienna. He has been awarded several times for his contribution in the field of business consulting. In January 2018 he was invited to take part in the best consultant award presented by the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany Christian Wulff in cooperation with the publication Top Consult.

Between 2003 and 2014 he came to Serbia on several occasions, where he founded companies, invested significant funds and employed workers. Each time he encountered obstruction from the ruling structures and their followers from criminogenic structures, who by corrupt and blackmailing methods wished to reach personal profit, paying no regard to the interest of the people and the state. As an active sportsman in his youth, and wishing to support Serbian sport, in 2004 he became vice president, general manager and co-financier of a football club. Numerous articles in the most respected sports newspapers speak of his success and commitment. After strengthening the club’s position and organisation within the club on the “success is not forgiven” system, he again met with disagreement from the then local leadership, which for personal interests interfered directly in the work of the coach and the management of the football club. For those reasons he left the club in which he had invested significant funds.

He received several offers to join the active political life of Serbia, which he refused every time. He was never a member of any political party. Realising the seriousness of the situation Serbia is in, he decided, regardless of an excellent material, career and family status, to become actively involved in politics, aware of all the risks for himself and his family.

Prof. Dr. Dejan Đorđević is a member of the Orthodox Academy of Sciences and the first president of the Conservative Reformist Party. He speaks German and English.
